One doctor's skewed take on depression drugs
Hello my friend:
There are countless people in the world who feel sadness
and depression for very legitimate reasons--death of a
loved one, job loss, the stress of a growing or changing
family, a new job, health crises...
And it's a travesty that in 99% of the cases, the only
remedy that's offered by the medical community is drugs.
Never mind the fact that there's a real problem going on
and it's only natural the person feels stressed and even
depressed. Let's ignore that and just drug 'em up... alter
their minds.
That's what happened to Deni. She felt post-natal
depression after having her daughter and her doctor's only
answer was anti-depressants.
But she took the matter into her own hands and feels a

Dear Mike,

the anti-depressants at the time as my doctor was adamant

I was very skeptical, however. When I went for a check-up

reported the significant improvement I felt (which I

that I felt better mainly as a result of the drugs.
Then I realized that he never even suggested doing
anything else but taking the drugs, so my confidence in
him took a dive.
A few days later I went to a health workshop about the
benefits of natural food and the harm caused by drugs, anti-
depressants included, I stopped taking my pills straight
away. And guess what - nothing bad happened. I didn't get
depressed again; on the contrary I felt more energetic,
positive and believing in myself and my decision even more.

And my advice to everybody else: Things don't just happen
- we have to work for them. So don't expect a miracle just
because you have the programs. You have to do something
with them - listen to the statements, write down the
statements, create your own statements, talk to your
friends, analyze the results of using the statements,
modify the use if you have to and then, do it again.

MB: Right on, Deni! Interesting that your doctor said it
was the drugs, since it takes about a month for them to get
enough of them in your system to even begin having any
'therapeutic' effect. When you get your education
primarily from Big Pharma, that's what you'll get... to a
nail's point of view, the solution is always a hammer. And
that is what our medical community seems to have become...
nails. And drugs are the hammers.
And yes, Think Right Now programs are very effective, but
